For those of you who have had cheating spouses and then were intimate afterward, this post is for you. Too many of my clients are finding this out too late. I’m talking about STDs or Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
These are varying types of infections that are transferred from one person to another. Sometimes, they are referred to as STIs because they have disease causing organisms that are transmitted by the sexual activity.
The issue is that some can be treated and some can’t. The thing that you need to know is that STDs can be spread by people who have no symptoms and haven’t been diagnosed with an STD.
The only 100% safe sex is that between partners who have had no relations previously and remain monogamous. Believe it or not, kissing can also spread STDs.
If you are aware that your spouse has been unfaithful or you suspect that your spouse has been unfaithful, you need to get checked. Go to the doctor and find out your situation. It could save your life.
