Why You Can’t Give Up

We have all heard the words, When the going gets tough, the tough get going but sometimes it’s really hard to believe. One of my new clients just told me that I had helped her by making her realize that she had the strength to take control of her life and divorce.  Another woman I connected with on Twitter said,  “She’s helped me with an impending divorce situation. Taking teaching exams this spring cause of her.”

I got to thinking about those of you who are having a difficult time believing in yourselves and your abilities and so I wanted to share the following quotes with you.

  • Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all. ~ Dale Carnegie
  • Fall seven times, stand up eight. ~ Japanese Proverb
  • What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters to what lies within us. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
  • When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on. ~ Franklin D. Roosevelt
  • Nothing could be worse than the fear that one had given up too soon, and left one unexpended effort that might have saved the world. ~ Jane Addams
  • Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

So many people have been successful because of something negative in their lives. You can be exactly the same way if you believe in yourself and your capabilities. I did it and you can too!
