I was walking in a grocery store the other day and watching so many of the couples made me very sad because clearly there was no respect involved.
I overheard one woman ask the man with her, “What would you like for dinner tonight?” His answer was rude and demeaning. He answered, “What difference does it make? Everything you cook tastes the same anyway, overcooked ‘something’ with cream of mushroom soup poured on top of it.”
I watched as the man said to the woman, “Just shut up and finish shopping so we can get out of here.”
She answered, “I’m going as fast as I can, Honey.”
Verbal abuse personified. “Honey?” More like “battery acid!” I thought.
