Did you know that NOW is the biggest split up time? Divorce rates soar during this time period. Couples seem to approach the divorce lawyers more the Monday following New Years, than any other day of the year.
Whether it’s because couples are cooped up with their spouses and the in-laws or because of the stress of Christmas debt, the weather, or what ever, the fact remains the same. Often, people may try to hold on until the holidays are over. Nobody wants the discord of divorce, during the holiday season.
Any of you, who suddenly think about divorce, during this time period, might be doing so because of one of the reasons that I mentioned. The bottom line, however, is that if you have been thinking about divorce for quite a while, this might be an appropriate time to make the move. It might even be the kindest time to separate because there is almost an entire year to adjust prior to the next holiday season.
