A new and special friend of mine gave me the most wonderful book for Christmas. Inside of it, I came across a quote that I had long since forgotten. It was by Emily Dickinson and it was as follows:
If I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain.
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Into his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.
I thank all of you for your kind thoughts and prayers. You are in mine and I feel very blessed to have connected with so many new friends. They are truly a gift this season and I appreciate their kindness as well as the kindness of my old dear friends who are near and far.
