Democrats dueling and divorcing!

Clinton and Obama may be having a difficult time, trying to decide when or if, either should let go and divorce himself or herself from his or her presidential ambitions. I see a quite a comparison here. Waiting to see which candidate will divorce himself or herself from candidacy is not so unlike a person who is trying to divorce herself or himself, from divorce and an ex. Can a woman ever divorce herself from her divorce or her ex when children are involved? Not an easy thing to do.

Whether it’s Obama or Clinton who divorces himself or herself from the nomination, each will end up in a win, win situation. Clinton or Obama will run for president on the Democratic ticket. Hopefully, the other will be running as vice president on the Democratic ticket. Potentially, being vice president isn’t such a shabby job, now is it?

Their situation is very different from a divorced couple that has failure rubbed in its face every time there is a family event. Obama and Clinton will begin with a clean slate and each will either succeed or fail from square one, if elected. The divorced couple will continue to deal will the same problems and accusations that they dealt with during their marriage.

There will be pettiness, rudeness, unkindness, control issues and selfishness on the part of some. There will be forgiveness, kindness and generosity on the part of others. Who is the winner in this case and who is the loser? My opinion is that the winner is the one who tries to rise above the marriage’s history and moves on.

The winner is the person that really does attempt and succeeds at divorcing himself or herself from the divorce and the ex no matter what situation arises.
