It’s interesting how things in life seem to go in cycles. I always find it a bit strange that my newest clients have the same issues as the ones just prior.
Since the beginning of 2012, each and every one of my new clients is dealing with the infidelity of her husband. Each has found out about an affair or relationship that her husband had been having with her house keeper.
This situation becomes even more painful because these women are concerned that the affairs took place in their own beds. Infidelity is always hard to take but the thought that the indiscretions took place in someone’s own bed makes matters even more painful.
As I listen to their stories, I am reminded of Arnold Schwarzegger and Maria Shriver. While I would never have believed that I could give Schwarzegger anything even close to a compliment, I will now.
He had no scruples when it came to his extramarital relationship with the house keeper but he is trying to work with Maria to parent their children. At least, his story gives hope that a man who has shown no caring for his wife can care for his children.
