Divorce is heartbreaking and everyone is hurt in some way during the process.
Anytime legal action is required, so are the services of attorneys. Like in any profession, there are ethical and unethical attorneys. (I must state again that my second attorney was fantastic!)
Back to topic, women are often seen by certain professions – in particular mechanics and attorneys – as being naïve, stupid and easily duped.
If there is any possibility that you can come to an agreement with your husband regarding child custody, support, visitation and other financial matters, try to do it.
Be extremely wary of the possibility that you could have false hope that you might be able to come to an agreement with your husband. Also be cautious of the possibility that your husband might be making empty promises to you.
It is crucial that you err on the side of caution.
