John Travolta, what an amazing and wonderful man!

I just saw part of an interview with John Travolta on TV. I knew him only from Grease and The Phenomenon. I always thought he was a wonderful actor but that was about it. Today, John Travolta shared some things that I never knew existed in an actor. He displayed and was not ashamed to show humility, the ability to feel, to cry, to be sensitive, to be caring, to be appreciative, to be honorable, to speak of his love of God and his fellow man.

What an inspiration to have been able to experience the man during this interview. What a wonderful man. My heart breaks for his loss and for his pain. He said something during the interview that rocked me to my very core. He said, “Shame on you if people say you are crap and you believe them. Shame on you! We need the support of our friends and our networks. We need them and they need us. We feed on their caring and we become better because of them.

Don’t ever forget that.” What an example he is to everyone with whom he comes in contact. I became acutely aware of the reasons as to why I am writing this blog and why I joined Twitter as I listened. Thank you all. I need you and I will do the best I can to be there for you. I love each and every one of you!!
