Power of Attorney

If you are contemplating divorce or are in the middle of one, you need to put this on the top of your priorities list. Right after the Thanksgiving Holiday, assign a new Power Of Attorney and a new Health Care Surrogate.

If your soon to be ex is your current Power Of Attorney and  Health Care Surrogate, there could be trouble because he can make decisions about your assets and health that are not in your best interest. It’s never too early to plan for your future and the future of your kids.

This is one of the easiest things to get done if you know a trusted person who is willing to accept the responsibility.
