Part of the process is to work on the gaps on your resume that occurred because of becoming a stay at home mom.
When I wrote the post in September of 2007 about a wanted ad for a stay at home mom and job description, I did it tongue in cheek.
Obviously, the tongue in cheek ad doesn’t point out the incredible fulfillment that moms feel as they raise their children either as stay at home moms, working at home moms or working outside the home moms — but we all know the frustration and exhaustion that come hand in hand with the career of mothering.
The lesson that I hope to share with you today is similar to the Scout’s motto, “Be Prepared.” That means to prepare for the worst and hope and pray for the best.
