I don’t want a divorce after all!

DFSAHM hugs

Do not assume that a husband who has requested or filed for divorce changes his mind just because he says so. This is a very common practice for several reasons.

One reason might be that he has not prepared himself enough by obtaining sufficient evidence to use against you in court.

His current girlfriend may have broken off their relationship. If he had this girlfriend most likely, another will follow.

He may need more time to hide assets so they will not be seen when you get to divorce court.

He may be using the current economic recession to prove that his assets or business are not of the value that would hurt him in court.

There are far too many other possibilities to mention here. One of which might actually be that he wants to try to work things out. Personally, I haven’t seen this to be true in more than a handful of cases.

There was a wonderful article in the Times on the 18th of November called Answers About Divorce and Money by Lili A. Vasileff who is a certified divorce financial analyst. http://bit.ly/2OZgoG Please take the time to read it. It may help you to see more clearly.
