It seems like a lot of people are on missions to gain members of the divorcee club. Please, if you take anything from this site and from me, make your own decisions regarding your marriage.
Those of you who are regulars here know that I have said this before. With the exception of abuse that occurs with you or your children, I believe that you should try to do what you can to save your marriage.
Well meaning friends and relatives may give you input and that’s okay because often they see some things you miss BUT you are the one who must make the ultimate decision to end your marriage or try to work it out.
You are the one who knows how he makes you feel when no one else is around. You are the one who sees and hears the way he acts when no one else does. If you end your marriage because people tell you that you should, you will regret it.
When your gut and only your gut says, “I can’t do this anymore. I need to leave.” That is the voice that you need to listen to so when that voice speaks, you need to listen.
Please, unless abuse is involved wait until you are sure that it is time to make the divorce move.
