I Want A Divorce! Now What?

Many times the first conversation I have with a client is filled with tears. So many women have hit rock bottom when they decide to connect with me. I really get that and I know exactly how they feel because I was there.

The only difference was that there were no divorce coaches that I knew about when I was going through it so I had to handle everything alone. I didn’t know what to do or which way to go. I made so many mistakes because I didn’t understand the divorce process and I didn’t have perspective. I was taken in by my first attorney. I followed his direction and did what he told me to do. I thought that he was on my side but I learned differently.

So now you are where I was or you wouldn’t be on this site. If you are lost in the process or if you feel alone with everything that you are experiencing, please do yourself a few favors.

This Is Your Divorce Assignment:

• Make a list of your concerns.
• Look at that list and decide what you can control and change.
• Do some homework. There is so much information on this site. You just need to spend some time learning about the divorce process.
• Research the divorce laws in your state.
• Do not assume anything about anyone! That means your friends, your attorney, and your family. People aren’t necessarily on your side even if they tell you they are!
• Go with your gut. If you feel like something isn’t right, it probably isn’t!
• Stay on top of the money you are spending on your divorce!!

Many of my clients need only one session so that they can get back on track. Many of them have three or four sessions and many have needed more than a year of sessions. Some, even three years but no matter what the case is, most stay in touch and that means the world to me. Each and every one has held a place in my heart. That’s why I do what I do.
